If you connect n8n to your own Google account, for Google Sheets, Google Drive or YouTube, two things often go wrong. Google says "Access blocked." Or it works for a week and then signs you out. Both have a short fix. It takes about 5 minutes.
Step 1. Open the right screen. Go to console.cloud.google.com, pick the project you made for n8n, then open Google Auth Platform.
Step 2. Fill in Branding and pick External. Under Branding, fill in the app name, the user support email and the developer contact email. Then add three links: the application home page, the application privacy policy link and the application terms of service link. Add the domain those links use under Authorized domains. Leave the logo empty. Save. Under Audience, choose External.
Step 3. Publish the app. Under Audience, click Publish app and choose In production. The button stays grey until Branding is saved with all four boxes filled.
Step 4. Sign in again in n8n. Open each Google credential in n8n and click Sign in with Google. Google shows "Google hasn't verified this app." That is normal for your own app that only you use. Click Advanced, then Go to your domain (unsafe), and allow it.
Step 5. YouTube only: pick the channel, not just the login. If your channel is a brand account, Google shows "Choose your account or a brand account." Pick the brand account that holds your channel. It usually has no email under its name.
Step 6. Check it. The Audience page should say In production. Run your workflow once.
Do not click "Go to verification" and do not upload a logo. Both make Google ask you to verify the app. A private app that only you use does not need that.
If you do not have a website, you can use these for the three links and the domain. They worked for our own app. If you have your own site, use your own links and domain instead.

After the steps above, a video uploaded to our channel. We have not yet confirmed how long Google Sheets and Google Drive sign-ins last on a published app. We check that around October 20 and will update this page. Google changes its screens, so a button name may be a little different.
One more limit: each Google project gets 10,000 units a day, and one YouTube upload costs about 1,600. That is about 6 uploads a day.
We give away one working n8n workflow for a faceless YouTube channel. It is free.
Free. Unsubscribe any time.
This page is general information, not Google support. Google and n8n are separate companies and are not connected to Autopilot Backend.
